Eduard Cortés was born in Barcelona. In 1984 he joined the Catalan network TV3, where he worked as a prolific producer. He then made his feature directorial debut with Nobody’s Life (2002). His subsequent films include Otros días vendrán (2005), Ingrid (2009), Winning Streak (2012) and Hold-up! (2012).
